Grez-sur-Loing

Grez-sur-Loing is a village and commune of the Seine-et-Marne département, in France.

It is located south of Paris and is notable for the artists and musicians who have lived or stayed there. The Swedish artist Carl Larsson met his wife Karin Bergöö while they were both staying at Grez. The English composer Delius lived here and dictated a number of works to his amenuensis Eric Fenby here.

Others include Karl Nordström, Bruno Liljefors, August Strindberg the Danish and Norwegian members of the Skagen Group, and Robert Louis Stevenson.
