"Grey Day" is a song by English ska/pop band Madness.
Released on April 1981 it later appeared on their third album 7. The song was written by Mike Barson when Madness were still known as The Invaders. "Grey Day" was a big departure from their early ska sound with much darker, miserable feel. It spent 10 weeks in UK charts peaking at number 4.
