Gretchen Whitmer

Gretchen Whitmer is a Democrat politician from Ingham County, Michigan, United States. Whitmer was elected to the Michigan State House of Representatives in 2000. In 2006 she was elected to the Michigan Senate in a special election to fill the seat vacated by Virg Bernero upon his election to Mayor of Lansing.
