Gregg Miller, inventor of Neuticles, was born in Independence, MO on April 28, 1953, He is a graduate of Truman High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Central Missouri State University in 1976.

Miller, at the age of 18, became the nation's first 18 year old to run for public office in Independence placing second in a seven person race for city council there.

Miller began his career as a general assignment reporter for the Tipton Times in Tipton, MO. After a year he became managing editor of the Trenton (MO) Republican Times - a six day PM daily. He accepted a city editor position for the Loveland (CO) Reporter Herald and later became Assistant Communications Director at the home office of Western Auto Supply Company in Kansas City.

Miller started an advertising agency in the early 1980's which led to his interest in consumer product inventions. His desire was to create, manufacture and distribute new products that had never existed before.

In 1992 Miller created patented Neuticles- testicular implants for pets. His love of animals and objection to the traditional form of neutering prompted him to risk everything for its development. After spending nearly $500,000 Neuticles were introduced in 1995. To date over 200,000 pets Worldwide have been Neuticled providing pet owners an option when altering their pet.

"Neuticles provide the caring pet owner an option," Miller said. "An option between whole and unwhole - natural verses unnatural." He said that Neuticles encourage pet owners to neuter that simply would not before. As a result pet over population is being reduced and pets are living happier, healthier and longer lives.

Miller recently had his book: Going Going NUTS! published which details his invention of Neuticles.

In 2005 Miller was awarded the Ig Nobel Prize for medicine from Harvard University and continues to develop Neuticles and other implantation products for pets including eye and ear implants.

Miller resides outside Kansas City, MO with his Boxer dog named Winston.
