Greg Russell

Greg Russell was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Airservices Australia on 19 July 2005.

Airservices Australia is the Australian Government agency responsible for the provision of air traffic control, aeronautical communications, navigation aids and airport rescue and fire-fighting services across the Australian Flight Information Region.

Russell was Chief Operating Officer at Athens International Airport until June 2005 and from 1999 to 2003 Director of Aviation at Sydney Airport Corporation Limited.

Prior to that he was an executive with regional operator Hazelton Airlines for six years rising to the position of General Manager and has also held a range of management positions in private companies and Government organisations.
