Greg Puciato
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Greg Puciato (b. March 27, Baltimore, Maryland) is the lead singer of the band The Dillinger Escape Plan. He is known for his explosive, reckless, and often destructive and violent live performances, wide vocal range, and outspoken views. He joined the group in September of 2001 and first performed with the group weeks later at the CMJ music conference in October 2001. Puciato's first release with DEP was a cover of Black Flag's "Damaged I and II", which appeared on a compilation tribute CD to the band. His first recorded original song was "Baby's First Coffin", which appeared on the Underworld soundtrack, and was included on his first release with Dillinger, Miss Machine.
Puciato also sang on the five-song, self-titled EP of Atticus Ross' Electro-Punk-Hardcore band Error. The band or project did very little press and didn't play a single show, and it is unknown if they plan on releasing anything else.
Also contributes to Spylacopa, an experimental musical project headed by Candiria guitarist John LaMacchia.
