Green Meadow Waldorf School

Green Meadow Waldorf School is a flagship Waldorf school in the US.

It was founded in 1950 in the town of Spring Valley (now Chestnut Ridge), New York, which is located in Rockland County, near the Hudson River. It consists of a nursery/kindergarten program, elementary school (1st to 8th grades), and high school (9th through 12th grades), and has approximately 400 students. It is also part of the larger anthroposophical community in Chestnut Ridge, which includes a teachers' college for Waldorf education, Sunbridge College; a Eurythmy school; a community for the aging, the Fellowship Community; and a training center for biodynamic agriculture.
