Green Great Wall

The Green Great Wall or Great Green Wall is the name of a currently ongoing project by the Chinese government to build a windbreak 4,480 km (2,800 mile) in length along the edge of the Gobi Desert in northwest China. It is the world's largest reforestation project ever undertaken with billions of trees planted. The project will take more than 70 years to complete.
