The Greek legislative election of the 19 February 1958 resulted in a victory for the People's Party of Panagis Tsaldaris.
The most important event of the elections of 1935 was the refusal of all venizelist centre-liberal parties to participate, believing that the elections wouldn't be fair, since:
- special courts were still functioning,
- two venizelist army chiefs had been executed, sentenced to death,
- the new electoral law was not approved by them.
Without opponents, the right-wing parties had no problem to dominate the Parliament, whose role would be to adopt a new Constitution and decide about the restoration of George II.
