Greatest Hits is the name of a compilation album of Ace of Base, a pop music group based in Sweden. It was released in 2000 in the United States, while Singles of the 90s, an album containing new material, was released in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Unfortunately, the Greatest Hits album was an inferior product, containing no original songs but including several track errors. Even the album cover was poorly printed, with the band member's faces difficult to make out. Consumers, when deciding between the two albums, chose Singles of the 90s, and Greatest Hits sold poorly indeed: it was the first U.S. Ace of Base album to fail to even enter the U.S. Hot 200 Album list.
