Greatest Hit...And More is a greatest hits album released by Jive Records. After Reel Big Fish was dropped from the label (much to the pleasure of the band) Jive Records released this album. Jive owns all of Reel Big Fish's music excluding their live album, meaning Reel Big Fish could do nothing about it's release.

Reel Big Fish's live album was released only 3 months prior to Greatest Hit...And More and the band has said that Jive Records only released this CD to try and detract sales from their live album.

[edit] Band's Reaction

When word spread of this album being released, the members of Reel Big Fish were angered and believed Jive was trying to unfairly make money from their band. Frontman Aaron Barrett even discouraged fans from buying the album, as all the tracks were in-studio tracks from previous albums.

On Myspace, Aaron Barrett posted this bulletin:

Hey friends!
So Jive records (our former label) is putting out an RBF greatest hits CD because they see how well our live album is doing and they pretty much just want to screw us any way they can!
they see that there's still money to be made from the Reel Big Fish so they are trying to get a last little piece!
There's really nothing we can do to stop them since they own ALL our previous recordings!
Anyway, tell all your friends NOT to buy the new greatest hit CD, it's really not that cool, it's just stuff from our 4 studio albums that you ALREADY have (you do have all the RBF albums right!?)!!
and if you do decide to pick it up, we still love ya, as long as people are enjoying our music in some way or another ya know!? We're just glad to have people listening!
thx for supporting RBF! you guys rule!

In response, many fans discouraged other fans from buying the album as well and the album was given unusually low ratings on iTunes.
