Greater Oslo

Greater Oslo is a metropolitan region around the Norwegian capital of Oslo. The suburbian municipalities are divided into two circles and three sectors, west, north and south. They stretch over the counties of Akershus (population: 488,618), Østfold (45,182), Buskerud (25,863) and Oppland (8,781). As of 2004 the total population, including the city of Oslo (521,886) is 1,090,012.
