Great Plains Lutheran

Great Plains Lutheran High School is fairly new to the area of Watertown, SD. The school was opened in 1996. This private Christian school was opened to provide a full-time Christian education through the high school years to young people. The education, practices, and policies are based upon the Word of God. Faculty and staff are equipping young people spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically for life and for eternity by instructing them in God's Word with the Christian environment. In the 2006-2007 school year 102 students were enrolled and 62 students that currently live in the residence hall, the largest enrollment for Great Plains Lutheran High School in the past ten years. Great Plains Lutheran also offers a wide variety of academic courses and sport activities.
