Great Lady of Gresik

The Great Lady of Gresik or Nyai Gede Pinatih (Chinese: 施氏大娘仔俾那智) is a Chinese Muslim from Palembang, Majapahit. She is the daughter of chieftan Xuan-Wei-Shi Shi Jin Qing of Palembang. After her father died, admiral Hajji Mahmud (also known as admiral Zheng He) of Ming China decided to make her brother as the new chieftan of Palembang, so she left Palembang and went to Gresik in east Java to preach her religion to the natives.
