Grease is 1978's original motion picture soundtrack. It's film version of Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey's musical "Grease" starring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Stockard Channing, directed by Randal Kleiser.
Single release was Billboard No. 1 Hits "You're The One That I Want", "Grease" and Academy Awards Original song nominated "Hopelessly Devoted to You", and smash hit "Sandy" and "Greased Lightnin' ".
The soundtrack album went to #1 in the summer of 1978 dethroning The Rolling Stones' Some Girls.
Some of back musicians are debut as Toto after this. They also performed Olivia Newton-John's album Totally Hot and Physical.
