Wikipedia being widely a Blue/Grey/White website, the "Proposed area colors" (various blue; 1 grey ; white for ocean) have been chose to be a Wikipedia proud blue style.
The Internet connection rate in 2000 map and its legend are the model for the project. As shown in the map, the legend within the Image (in grey #c0c0c0) is keep as small as possible: almost only numbers and the globally understood arrow symbol "⇒". Full legend and explanation have to be in the article or in the Image page, using the template {{Legend||}} : {{Legend|#0000ff|Swimming animals habitat}} ██ Swimming animals habitat Note that maps should be created in the SVG format.
