Bot by User:R3m0t, fully programmed.

  • First successful automated edit on 19:37, Feb 27, 2005.
  • Began running proper on about 21:35, Feb 27, 2005.
  • It stopped due to serious problems with quotes and HTML entities, and also with problems marking edits as minor. The database was reset and it made all the changes again - but correctly this time.
  • It has a page for anybody to turn off the bot (see below)
  • Received bot flag 12:03, Mar 5, 2005.
  • Banned for a short time, bla bla.
  • Finished run of commas on 17:12, Mar 7, 2005. Turned itself off.
  • Turned back on to finish the last few edits and checks. Will be running two times slower than before, maybe.
  • Finished checking commas on 20:58, Mar 7, 2005.

I don't like my name R3m0t (AOL suggested reversing name and replacing letters with numbers; damn it (a singular entity is singular) and its disgusting people.) but it stuck. When I realised I could make R3b0t instead of "R3m0t (bot)" I couldn't resist. --r3m0t 22:02, Feb 24, 2005 (UTC)

Actually, "r3b0t" was too similar to "r3m0t". Grammarbot 10:40, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)

This has serious problems at the moment. See talk.

Grammarbot is running again. I will set up something to stop the bot in the next few minutes. It will be available from [1]. r3m0t 20:42, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)

Done. r3m0t 21:01, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)

Watch my edits!
