I've been an admirer and user of Wikipedia for a long time, but have just recently begun the process of becoming an active member of the Wikipedia community. The monumental nature of this volunteer project really excites me and I am happy to get to have a hand in whatever improvements I can take part in.

The name 'Gracehoper' I borrow from James Joyce's Finnegans Wake. It appears most prominently in the section known as "The Ondt and the Gracehoper" (FW 414.22-419.10, [that is to say, from line 22 on page 414 to the tenth line on 419]).
