"Gravity" (2006) |
"Gravity" is the second single released from John Mayer's 2006 studio album, Continuum.
Mayer had released the song prior to Continuum's release with his band John Mayer Trio's debut live album Try!.
Mayer suggested in an interview with Performing Songwriter that Gravity was the song he was always trying to write, using the examples of "City Love" (from Room For Squares) and "Come Back To Bed" (from Heavier Things) as being early attempts at "writing Gravity".
