Gravedona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 km north of Milan and about 40 km northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,669 and an area of 6.2 km2.[1]
The municipality of Gravedona contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Negrana, San Carlo, Segna, Trevisa, and Traversa.
