A grasshopper is a sweet, mint-flavored, alcoholic milkshake. The name of the drink is derived from its green color.

The standard recipe for this drink consists of 2 ounces Crème de menthe, 2 ounces Crème de cocoa, and 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream.

In a blender, mix the crème de menthe, the crème de cocoa and the vanilla ice cream. If necessary, milk may be added to thin the consistency of the beverage.
