Grasă de Cotnari

Grasă de Cotnari (IPA: ['gra.sə de kot.'narʲ]) is a a Romanian wine variety associated with the Cotnari vineyard, Moldavia, where it has been grown ever since the rule of Prince Stephen the Great (late 15th century).
Made of grapes picked when they are already shrivelled and attacked by botrytis cinerea, it contains a high content of sugar (over 240 grams per litre).
