Grant Rostig

Grant Rostig (born July 7, 1959), American politician, seeks to be a Republican congressman representing Texas. He seeks to represent the 25th Congressional district in 2007. Before the primary selections were nullified by the judicial redrawing of District 25 (and an open primary scheduled for November), Rostig was slated to be the Libertarian Party nominee. Rostig has been endorsed by Ron Paul as a Republican, and is also an endorsed member to the Republican Liberty Caucus.

Rostig was born in Toronto, Ontario. Rostig received both his bachelor's degree in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Northwestern Health Sciences University where he served as president of the Nutrition club. His political career began in 2005 when he decided to run for Congress. Prior to becoming a chiropractor he was a computer programmer. Rostig had previously also studied computer programming, data processing, and accounting.

He running against incumbent Democratic Congressman Lloyd Doggett and Independent Brian Parrett in 2006.
