Grant Lauchlan

Grant Lauchlan is a reporter on stv central's news programme: Scotland Today.

He previously produced and presented the film show Moviejuice with Sarah Heaney for stv.

The broadcaster studied Film and Media at Stirling University.

His first television job was as a weather presenter on American television. He also worked for Radio Clyde as a news reporter before moving in to television. He started working as an assistant producer for stv's digital channel S2 in 1998. Grant began working for Scotland Today in 2000 as a film critic. After S2 closed, Grant moved on to working full-time in the newsroom as a journalist taking time out over the years to produce Moviejuice.

Grant has interviewed some of Hollywood's biggest names including Halle Berry, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jim Carrey, Julie Andrews, Uma Thurman, Sigourney Weaver the list goes on...
