Grande Prairie Wapiti

Grande Prairie Wapiti is an Albertan provincial electoral district, located in northwestern Alberta.
Under the Alberta electoral boundary re-distribution of 2004, the constituency includes the southern half of the city of Grande Prairie and the surrounding areas to the west of the city. Its border with Grande Prairie Smoky within the city is Richmond Avenue and the Canadian National Railway. The constituency borders British Columbia to the west. Clockwise from the provincial border, the district also borders Dunvegan, Grande Prairie Smoky and West Yellowhead. Other major towns include Beaverlodge and Wembley.
The current MLA for this district is Progressive Conservative Gordon J. Graydon. He won re-election in the district in the 26th Alberta general election.
