Grand Slam Prize in harness racing

Since 2000, the Grand Slam Prize of $1 million has been offered to any harness racing pacer who can win the North America Cup (Woodbine Racetrack, Toronto), Meadowlands Pace (Meadowlands Racetrack, N.J.), Little Brown Jug (Delaware County Fair, Ohio) and their Breeders Crown event (Meadowlands Racetrack, NJ).
Similarly, a $1 million Grand Slam Prize is offered in harness racing to the owners of a trotter that wins the Hambletonian (Meadowlands Racetrack, N.J.), the World Trotting Derby (DuQuoin State Fair, Ill.), the Kentucky Futurity (The Red Mile, Lexington,_Kentucky) and their Breeders Crown event (Meadowlands Racetrack, NJ).
The Grand Slam of Trotting and the Grand Slam of Pacing are sponsored by the Hambletonian Society, Illinois Department of Agriculture (which operates the DuQuoin State Fair), the Little Brown Jug Society, Meadowlands Racetrack, Woodbine Entertainment Group, and The Red Mile.
