The Grand Arcade is a large shopping development in Cambridge, England that is currently under construction. The development is anchored by the John Lewis Partnership, whose store will be situated to the southeast of the site, being one of the central focuses of the arcade. The develoment will be linked onto the existing Lion Yard Shopping Centre located in Cambridge city centre, and in addition to the John Lewis store, is planned to include 50 new shop units, 2 cafes and a restaurant. The Lion Yard Car Park has also been demolished to make way for a new updated one. The whole development is planned to open in 2008, with the John Lewis store opening earlier in 2007.
