Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance was awarded from 1968 to 1977, and revived for the Grammy Awards of 2005. In 1971 to 1972 and 1976 to 1977 it was awarded as the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance (other than soul gospel). In 1978 the award was divided into two new awards, the Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Performance, Traditional and Best Gospel Performance, Contemporary.

Years reflect the year in which the Grammy Awards were presented, for works released in the previous year.
