The Grama Salada (Distichlis spicata) are Culmos erectos and thin from 10 to 60 cm high; plates erectas even of 15 cm long, with a distance from 1 to 2.5 cm between yes, equal or longer than the inflorescence pistilada and occasionally shorter than the inflorescence estaminada. Inflorescence pistilada pale green color from 1 to 6 cm long, with 8 to 36 agglomerated herringbones; herringbones 5 to 9-flosculadas even of 1 cm long per 4 mm breadth.
