Graham Jones

Graham Jones (25 November 1973^[1]—) is an Irish film director.

He was born in Dublin^[1] in 1973 and started making films when he was eight years old with the family video camera^{[citation needed]}.

After directing some shorts he was accepted into a film school in London^{[citation needed]}. When he reached the final year, however, he decided not to make a graduation film like everyone else but master in theory by interviewing thirty low budget film producers^{[citation needed]}.

These interviews were published by the British Film Institute in Jones' 1995 book Talking Pictures: Interviews with Contemporary Film Makers.

A few years later in 1997 Jones directed his own first feature film entitled How to Cheat in the Leaving Certificate.^[1]

When his next screenplay The History Student unravelled into an unpublished novel Jones attempted to keep busy by directing a 35mm commercial and also a music video, only ever agreeing to work when he had complete creative control.^{[citation needed]}Fudge 44, his second feature as a director, is released in 2006.^[1]
