Grafton Hill

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grafton Hill refers to one of the seven hills of Worcester, Massachusetts, the third largest city in New England. Just as in Rome, Italy, there are seven very steep hills that distinguish its topographic neighborhoods and Grafton Hill is one of the more promienent areas in the city. Grafton Hill is located in the Southeast part of the city, just east of Main Street. Grafton Hill encompasses most of the 01604 zip code and such notable streets as Grafton Street, Hamilton Street and Plantation Street. There is also a nearby connect to Interstate 290 and the area of Grafton Hill is known for its heavy Italian tradition, especially in restaurants on Shrewsbury Street, Worcester's unofficial "Restaurant Row."
