Grace Ingalls

Grace Pearl Ingalls Dow (May 23, 1877–November 10, 1941) was born in Burr Oak, Iowa as the fifth and last child of Caroline and Charles Ingalls. She was the youngest sister of Laura Ingalls Wilder known for her Little House on the Prairie books.
She worked as a schoolteacher in Manchester, South Dakota. On October 16, 1901, she married Nathan William Dow but they never had children. After her parents' deaths, she took care of her eldest sister Mary, who was blind. Grace died of complications from diabetes in Manchester, South Dakota on November 10, 1941, the age of 64. She predeceased her two older sisters Laura and Carrie. Grace was buried at De Smet Cemetery.
On Little House screening she was portrayed by Wendi and Brenda Turnbaugh (1978–82) and Courtnie Bull and Lyndee Probst (1997).
