Grace Christian High School is a Born Again Christian School primarily catering to Chinese Christian students from Pre-Nursery to K-12. It is situated in Grace Village, Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. Students use the conventional type of education, while those of higher ability use the A.C.E. curriculum. In an interview with Jay Walsh of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE), Doctor Tan explained that he was educated at George Washington University, USA, and once worked for IBM "in a job that paid a six-figure salary". He became a born again Christian after seeing Wendell Kempton speak at the First Baptist Church of Saugerties, New York.

Dr. Tan expresses pride in saying that "70 to 80% of the students are non-Christians when they arrive, but when they graduate, 90 to 95% of them have received Christ as Savior."
