Graševina

Graševina is the most planted white grape variety in Croatia. Synonyms are Welschriesling (Austria, Germany), Riesling Italico (Italy), Olasz rizling (Hungary), Laški rizling (Slovenia), Vlassky rizling (Czech republic). It has grown in all inland Croatian wine regions, widely known for high and reliable yields. When yields are moderate style is floral and zesty with a pleasant bitter aftertaste, fluorishes in region Kutjevo and Danube region near small town Ilok.
