I'm an American living in Boston, Massachusetts, USA and am currently a student working towards a degree in geology with a biology minor at a university. I regard myself primarily as a geographer and this undergirds my interests. Most of my Wikipedia contributions deal with Africa and developing countries, typically the Great Lakes region and Nigeria. I have been involved with Wikipedia since June, 2005. As far as ego-stroking goes, I would like to think the following are notable:

The 2005 Kenyan constitutional referendum entry which I authored most of appeared on the Main Page for several days at the end of November, 2005.

I am currently allotting most of my Wikipedia time to the Petroleum in Nigeria/Conflict in the Niger Delta articles.

Also, my handle is derived from that of Gozer the Gozerian of Ghostbusters fame (by way of some fictitious Sumerian deity of the same name). Apprently it's also the Spanish and Portuguese infinitive of the verb which translates as "to enjoy".
