Gowbarrow Fell
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gowbarrow Fell is a hill of 1579 feet in the English Lake District, in the county of Cumbria.
Aira Force is nearby as is the village of Dockray.
In April 1802 the daffodils growing on the west side of Gowbarrow inspired The Lake Poet William Wordsworth to write one of his most famous poems, Daffodils.
