Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance or in short GRC, is a type of Enterprise Software that ensures that a business complies to legal requirements. Examples for such requirements are regulation like the Sarbanes-Oxley Act or Basel II. Failure to meet these standards can lead to severe legal penalties. Managers can be made personally responsible.
