I'm curious to see what evidence there is that Gotrek is dead. Night Bringer

Read the books. Each chapter/story is prefaced by a sample of Felix's writings regarding the incident about to happen. They're given as excerpts from a book Felix wrote... which he promised to write after Gotrek finally met his doom. SAMAS 01:42, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

I read the series up to vampire slayer and i know it stated why he was a slayer. So it was probably in the last one i read. It was self imposed. He was off at war, doing his job as some kind of leader in the dwarven army. He arived home to his slaughtered wife and child, and since he hadnt been able to save them he became a slayer without it being forced upon him in any way. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.236.225.7 (talk) 00:37, 11 December 2006 (UTC).
