Goto Sumiharu

Goto Sumiharu (1562-1594) a warlord of the Japanese province of Hizen during the Sengoku Period of the 16th century. Briefly following the Sengoku Period, Sumiharu submitted to Ryuzoji Takanobu. However, when the latter invaded Kyūshū during the year of 1587, Sumiharu joined up with Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Sumiharu led over 700 men, along with sending many warships to Konishi Yukinaga's command in the first invasion of Korea during the year of 1592-1593. However, Sumiharu fell ill and died during 1594 in Korea.
