Gossip is a 2000 American drama/mystery/thriller film. It was directed by Davis Guggenheim and written by Gregory Poirier (sceenplay and story) and Theresa Rebeck (screenplay).

Three college students (Marsden, Headey, Reedus) develop a project involving gossip. They use a situation involving a man (Jackson) and a woman (Hudson) who were making out at a nightclub and at one point the woman passes out. The three decide to use this incident by spreading the rumor that the man had raped her.
