Gorvagh
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gorvagh is a small area in Leitrim. It is about 4 miles (6 km) from Mohill and 6 miles (8 km) from Ballinamore. It belongs to the parish of Mohill with St. Josephs church situated on a hill overlooking the main Mohill Ballinamore road (R202). A post office was previously the main focus of the area but this has been closed a number of years now as has Murphys shop close to it.
Gorvagh is known for its lakes, with fishing popular amongst the locals and tourists. Historical Fenagh Abbey is only 3 miles from Gorvagh.
