Gordon S. Macklin was born (~1928) in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He served from 1971 to 1987 as the first President and CEO of the NASDAQ.

He is Co-Chairman of the Alexis de Tocqueville Institute, and was a board member of WorldCom Inc. in which investors lost billions of dollars.
