Gordon Corrigan

Formerly a regular officer in the British Army's Royal Gurkha Rifles; following retirement in 1998, Major J G H Corrigan MBE became a freelance military historian.
Author of "Mud, Blood and Poppycock", a history of the First World War which attempts to challenge the popular culture belief that the British general staff were incompetent and inefficient.
