Goran Gavrančić (Serbian Cyrillic: Горан Гавранчић; born August 2, 1978 in Belgrade, Serbia (then the SFRY)), is a Serbian footballer. He plays for Dynamo Kyiv in the Ukrainian Premier League.
His career began at FC Čukarički Stankom, having played for Red Star Belgrade as a youth. His performances at FC Čukarički caught the eye of Dynamo Kyiv manager Valeri Lobanovsky and the Ukrainian club purchased him in 2002. He has become one of Dynamo's most important players and is noted for his tough tacking and his rocket-like headers. He also has a good strike rate for a defender; 20 goals in 107 matches.
Gavrančić is part of the Serbia and Montenegro national team's "Famous Four" defence, which conceded just one goal during qualifying for the 2006 World Cup, which was their first World Cup appearance under that name (the same country had been in the second round of the 1998 World Cup, then known as FR Yugoslavia). The other members of the famous four are Ivica Dragutinović of Sevilla, Manchester United's Nemanja Vidić, and Mladen Krstajić of Schalke 04.
