Due to globalisation, substantial number of foreign companies are entering india and there by creating thousands of jobs for the youth and the experienced. The young are happy to have money and for having become free to spend for anything. The boy and girl who is educated and has got the potential to withstand the pulls and pressures of this life are being given handsome perks and packages by the multinational companies and call centres.

Eventhough the trend is welcome one,the problems being created by this trend cannot be neglected. The disparities in life style, crime rate, cost of living, erosion of family life and culture are notable things.

The situation has increased the buying power of the above refered class of persons and the less previleaged are those who settle to other jobs which are considered tradtional and must for the growth of indian economy. The wealth is being created, developed in the urban centres in the form of infrastructure. But the villages, which are considered as backbones of indian economny are being neglected like never before. The result of this is apparent in the form of growing unrest in the forming community, soaring prices of agricultural products.Unless this problem is addressed,on war footing,we indians have to pay heavy price for that.

There are no proper infrastructure for the villages,we have all kinds of problems in the countryside.water, housing are being the main problems.Due to this we are wittnessing migration of villagers to the nearby cities or urban cenrtes.we have failed to create jobs at the village level.we are not making use of the byprodcuts of agriculture for creating wealth and by generating jobs for the villagers.our tradtional home industries already in the graveyard.Gandhi school of thought is not visible.

It is high time to take notice of the needs of the indian economy. As a member of world society,we have to respect the open market system and at the same time we should not compromise on the structure of our economy. If the structure is lost, india is lost.we may have to wait for one more freedom struggle of another kind to liberate ourselves from the clutches of trap made available by the globalisation and open market economy.
