Google Earth Hacks (alternatively, GoogleEarthHacks or GEH) is an English-language Google Earth related website with an Internet forum. The site offers files to enhance user experience with Google Earth. Some of the files point out fun places to visit, while others can put real-time weather radars on the user's map, add in more 3D buildings, or any number of other things. You even have the ability to upload your own files. It was founded in June, 2005 by Mickey Mellen and has since grown to over 80,000 members and around 16,500 files which have been downloaded more than 6,250,000 times with the forum counting more than 37,000 posts. As of December 2006, it has an Alexa ranking of 19,062. The site was the original home of GEwar, which is now on its own server.
