Goo Goo Dolls is the first album by the Goo Goo Dolls. All of the songs are sung by Robby Takac, who was the lead singer when they first started. Johnny Rzeznik doesn't sing at all. It is the hardest to find of all the band's studio albums, being out of print as of 2006 and not in very wide circulation to begin with. Most likely because of its rarity, there is a confusion among which record label originally published it. The official site claims that it came from Celluloid, while others say it came from Mercenary Records, and some even claim it came from Metal Blade (the latter is most likely erroneous). It is also known as 'First Release'.
