Gonzaga Preparatory School

Gonzaga Preparatory School is a high school located in Spokane, Washington. Founded as Gonzaga High School in 1889 in the basement of the Gonzaga University administrative building, "G-Prep" has been recognized for its college preparation and academic excellence. Notable alums include Speaker of the House Tom Foley, NFL hall-of-famer Ray Flaherty, NFL kicker Joe Danelo, New Orleans Saints special teams captain Steve Gleason, NBA all-time assists and steals leader John Stockton, and Saturday Night Live alum Julia Sweeney. In the 2006 Football season, the Bullpups took third place in the Washington 4A division. Recently, Gonzaga Prep grad Timothy Egan author of The Worst Hard Time was a finalist for the National Book Award.
