Gonionotophis

Gonionotophis is a genus of colubrid snakes also known as the African Ground Snakes.

There are 3 commonly accepted species in the genus:

  • Mocquard's African Ground Snake-Gonionotophis brussauxi
  • Gonionotophis grantii
  • Matschie's African Ground Snake-Gonionotophis klingi
