[edit] Welcome
Hello, Gold-Horn, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am Deepu Joseph (a.k.a. thunderboltz). Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Provide an Edit summary
- Take a look at Consensus of standards. It is always wise to read the talk page of an existing article before making major changes on it. Even then, I typically ask if anyone minds that I make a change. Very often they do! ;-)
- Create a User page
Again, welcome! And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask - Just click here to leave me a message; or add {{helpme}} to this page.-- thunderboltz(Deepu) 11:22, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- Why, thank you for the Barnstar! And may I be among the first to welcome you to this site with open arms. If you need a hand, give a holler. Have fun!! - Lucky 6.9 16:22, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

- It's great to have you back. Saw your edit history and I though, ah ha! This guy knows his stuff. I dropped out of sight for about six months myself so I know the feeling. - Lucky 6.9 16:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sounds like fun! I remember rescuing a couple of articles about soft drinks from an autistic user who meant well, but left a massive cleanup work in his wake. I'd like to help as soon as I can. - Lucky 6.9 16:30, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
No, it was SuperDude115 and his alter ego, Maoririder. He had a couple of other socks which he was up front about using, but I can't remember the names. Signing off for now; see you 'round! - Lucky 6.9 16:37, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Scratch that: SuperDude115 is out of Michigan and is still in good standing. Maoririder and his sock, Jingofetts, were out of Maine. - Lucky 6.9 16:40, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Note on Administrators' noticeboard
Hi. I've removed your note on the administrators' noticeboard about the WikiProject. It's nothing personal, but the admin noticeboards are flooded with requests as it is, so it's important that they be reserved for only issues needing administrative action or notice. I'd suggest adding the project to the list of new projects on the community portal instead. Thanks, Ral315 (talk) 16:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] re: your Content Review request
Good afternoon. I am reviewing your request to m:transwiki the content of a vandalism tracking page to another wikiproject. That particular page was deleted in accordance with WP:DENY. See Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Long term abuse/Willy on Wheels 2 for the full discussion. Before granting the request, I think the community should know which project you propose to transwiki this to. When you have a minute, would you please return to the Content review page and amend your request? Thanks. Rossami (talk) 18:00, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- That would seem to violate the principles behind WP:DENY. How effective would that denial be if the vandal knew that the page would merely be forked off to another location? For an issue this complex, I'd recommend that we escalate this from a Content Review request to a full Deletion Review discussion. Rossami (talk) 18:10, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
youre right m8. i know u aint anybody's sockpuppet. youve just been using public terminals a fair bit aint u?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.50.208.4 (talk • contribs).
- For anyone considering unblocking please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Block of User:Gold-Horn, please also note that the note above is from an open proxy who has protested his innocence in a few places, this is par for the course for this particular user, contact me if you want numerous other examples. Similarly the reason above about using a public terminal, no mention of that on wikinews I notice, and just a huge coincidence that he just happened to be using the same public terminal as the user he is a sockpuppet of based on other evidence. Again this is par for the course, I can point you in the direction of inumerable other socks trying to claim the other accounts/ips have been blocked unfairly based on similar coincidences. --pgk 06:10, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
coincidence is no proof, pgk. Raja Lon Flattery 11:37, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Devil Wears Prada
I noticed you put a cleanup tag on The Devil Wears Prada (film). Could you go into some specifics? I fully admit it needs work on the differences between movies and film (the result of a summer of overzealous anons), but what else needs work, IYO?
BTW, I joined your soft drinks project (because of all the work I do on New Coke). Daniel Case 22:46, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New soft drink article!
You inspired me to write about one of my favorite sodas of all time: Canfield's Diet Chocolate Fudge soda. Do whatever it takes to try one of these if you never have. The best. If you really want to learn what good is, make a "farmer's soda" by pouring some cream or half-and-half in a glass and then pouring some Canfield's over it. Oh the yum. - Lucky 6.9 05:30, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unblocked
I have unblocked you, since you have verified on Wikinews that this is no sockpuppet account. However, it may not be a popular decision. Just be sure to behave well, and everything will calm down. —this is messedrocker

- Discussed with MessedRocker and reblocked. You may well be the same user on wikinews, I've no doubt on that. The problem is your activity under numerous accounts here including widespread vandalism going back over a long period of time. --pgk 20:29, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
